This Policy explains how Relayo (relayo.cc) handles personal data when you use our MercadoLibre seller support workspace. By using the service, you acknowledge the practices described here.
1. Data controller
The operator of Relayo is responsible for processing data linked to your account. Privacy contact: legal@relayo.cc.
2. Data we collect
- Account: email, authentication credentials (securely managed by our auth provider), and settings preferences.
- Support data: questions, messages, claims, returns, and listings synced from MercadoLibre and other channels you voluntarily connect (Instagram, WhatsApp).
- Service usage: technical logs, IP address, audit events, and usage metrics for security, billing, and product improvement.
- Payments: if you purchase a plan, we process order identifiers and payment status via Mercado Pago; we do not store full card numbers.
3. Purposes
We use data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve Relayo (unified inbox, AI drafts, synchronization).
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations.
- Billing, customer support, and operational communications about the service.
- Generate reply drafts with AI providers; you decide what is sent to buyers.
4. Legal basis and retention
We process data based on contract performance, legitimate interest in operating a secure service, and applicable legal obligations. We retain information while your account is active and as needed for disputes, audit, or legal requirements, then delete or anonymize it.
5. Sharing with third parties
We share data only with vendors that help operate Relayo (hosting, database, authentication, AI, payment gateways) under confidentiality terms, and with platforms you authorize (Mercado Libre, Meta, WhatsApp) to run requested integrations. We do not sell personal data.
6. International transfers
Your data may be processed on servers outside your country. We apply reasonable safeguards consistent with our providers and applicable law.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may request access, correction, deletion, objection, or portability by emailing legal@relayo.cc. We will respond within applicable legal timeframes.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures (encryption in transit, access control, auditing). No system is 100% secure; report relevant incidents to the contact above.
9. Children
Relayo is aimed at professional sellers and is not intended for users under 18.
10. Third-party data we process
To let Relayo answer messages and questions on your behalf, we integrate each platform's official APIs. We only access the data listed below and retain it while your account is active; once disconnected, we purge it after 30 days.
- MercadoLibre: buyer questions, orders, claims, returns, listings, and messages tied to your seller account (scopes
read,write,offline_access). - Meta / Instagram: Facebook Page id, Instagram Business id, conversations, and messages (permissions
instagram_basic,instagram_manage_messages,pages_manage_metadata,pages_messaging,business_management). - WhatsApp Business (when enabled): WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) id,
phone_number_id, conversations, and messages (permissionswhatsapp_business_management,whatsapp_business_messaging).
11. How to request deletion
You have three equivalent ways to request data deletion:
- In-app: Settings → Connections → Disconnect. We trigger token revocation and a 30-day automatic purge.
- Meta callback: we register https://relayo.cc/api/meta/data-deletion as the Data Deletion Request URL and https://relayo.cc/api/meta/deauthorize as the Deauthorize Callback URL for the
META_APP_IDset in Meta for Developers. After the request you receive a confirmation code and can check the status at /en/legal/data-deletion-status. - Email: write to privacidad@relayo.cc. We respond within the applicable legal timeframe (up to 30 days).
12. Changes
We may update this Policy. The current version is posted at this URL with version 2026-05-22 or later.
